April Membership Meeting – Surviving the Sandwich Generation presented by Brenna Galvin of of the Bravura Law Group

Date: April 23, 2026
Time: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Location: Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley

The sandwich generation refers to adults, typically aged 40–54, who are caring for both their children and their aging parents.  The Minneapolis Area Senior Workers Association will be presenting well-known Elder Law Attorney, Brenna Galvin of the Bravura Law Group, as she discusses, Surviving the Sandwich Generation.  Brenna will show the adult children of aging parents how to navigate raising children and seeing to the care of their parents.

Everyone who works in Senior Services, whether it be housing, hospice, home care, placement, or Senior movers, knows someone in the “Sandwich Generation”.  It could be yourself, another member of your family, a resident or prospect’s family, or a neighbor or friend. MASWA is giving you a wonderful opportunity to help them by bringing them to the April 23rd meeting.  Those in the Sandwich Generation face extreme stress, financial strain, and mental health challenges. You can help them by giving them the tools they need to negotiate this stressful time of life.

There will be no single meeting charge for this event. So, if you are not a MASWA member, you and your guest(s) can attend for free! There will be one CEU Credit Hour for professionals who need it.
