Objectives:

  • Learn tips on how to detect and prevent Medicare fraud
  • Identify scams targeting older adults
  • Gain insight into resources available to support older adults related to avoiding scams and fraud

Presented by Mayla Yang, Community Outreach Specialist with Trellis

Mayla  is a Community Outreach Specialist with Trellis. During her career, she worked with the underserved communities to raise awareness on brain health, develop support gatherings and provide direct care services to older adults. In her role now, Mayla strives to build strong and trusting relationships with community partners. Mayla is passionate about providing culturally appropriate resources and free educational presentations to uplift the aging population and those who care for them. Mayla finds great joy and honor empowering individuals to live well and age well.
