Professional Grief and Bereavement

Objectives:
This interactive presentation will focus on the often unnamed experiences and emotions of professional grief and bereavement overload and how these experiences differ from personal grief. We will then explore various self-care/positive coping strategies to deal with these experiences and emotions.
Speaker:
Nancy received her Masters of Arts Degree in Theology along with Graduate Certificates in Pastoral Ministry and Spiritual Direction from St. Catherine University. She is currently the Grief Support Supervisor/Faith Community Liaison for Grace Hospice which is a faith based hospice located in the Twin Cities. Nancy has years of experience as a pastoral minister, spiritual director, and grief counselor. Nancy’s passion is to help others in their own journey of living well and dying well.
